Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) is a wonderfully versatile building material, that can be used for external and internal walls, intermediate ceilings, and as roof panels in conjunction with other building materials. The number of CLT layers is always odd – 3, 5 or 7 layers.

Layers, with moisture content 12 +- 2%, provide a so-called locking effect, which ensures very good stability of the panel measurements, stability during changes in humidity and significantly reduces negative effects of wood drying. CLT has no architectural constraints, and because of this, more and more CLT is being used for building private houses, apartment buildings, as well as industrial and commercial buildings.

The use of CLT in bridge building has become more and more popular. Its large format elements accelerate the construction process greatly. Fixings between panels are made quickly for screws, bolts, and pins, and do not require any extra drying time.

  • Suitable for wall, intermediate ceiling and roof ceiling element
  • Large-size tiles available
  • Very good fire resistance properties
  • Building material with a positive CO2 balance

  • Max measurements 3,5×15 m;
  • Thickness of panels 60–300 mm;
  • Number of layers 3, 5 or 7;
  • Thickness of layers 20, 30 or 40 mm;
  • All door openings, window openings and milled gooves/channels can be pre-cut and milled;
  • Not recommended for use in third use category without according surface treatments and finishes;
  • Panels intended for construction elements are produced to an industrial (NSI) quality;
  • A combined panel can be specially ordered, where one side is industrial (NSI) and the other side visible (SI) quality;
  • Exterior layers are made from c24 grade material with the option of using c16 grade for the internal layers as according to EN 338 guidelines;
  • Base of manufacturing EN 14080; EN 16351;
  • Rolling shear strength fr,CLT,k=1,2MPa and -module G_90=65MPa, for b/t=>4. In other cases, when b/t<4 then fr,CLT, k=0,7MPa and -module G_90=50MPa.
  • Combustion rate is 0,65 mm/min if joints between lamels are up to 2 mm
    and 0,8 mm/min when the joints are 2–4 mm

  • Great architectural design options
  • Environmentally friendly building material
  • Provides a healthy and cosy indoor environment
  • Positive CO2 balances
  • Short construction period
  • 16 times lighter than steel and 5 times lighter than concrete
  • High fire resistance
  • Up to 10% more living space when using CLT

  • Private dwellings and apartment buildings
  • Public buildings
  • Renovated buildings
  • Bridges
  • Hotels and restaurants
  • Schools and kindergartens
  • Offices and administrative buildings
  • Industrial and commercial buildings
